Amidst all of the JYPE-related gloom & doom that has been emerging as of late, our friends at WG Spectacle Forums recently held an international project to send the Wonder Girls‘ member Sunmi a message before her upcoming departure to Korea. Wonderfuls from all over the world banded together to complete a positive, united message to the beloved 4D with balloons, photos, notes and a video collage that captured the entire experience.

After Sunmi’s last performance at POP-CON last week, Wonderfuls at WG Spec gathered over five hundred messages and tied them to 150 purple hearts, then placed them in front JYPE’s New York City office to show their support.

“To us you will always be a part of WG!” one fan from Brazil wrote in her note. “We will support your decision no matter what. What matters is that you are happy. We’ll always love you!” Another fan from Thailand said, “Even though I don’t want you to leave, I respect your decision. I hope you will be happy with your decision & studies.” Others promised to save the world with Sunmi in the future together, and others reminded her to keep smiling and stay happy with her decision.

Notes were written in English & Korean by fans both in Korea and places all over the world, including the States, Spain, Peru, the UK, Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, Hungary and more. One amazing Wonderful even flew in from Japan for this event.

2PM’s leader Park Jaebeom has quit for good, after it was announced on JYPE’s website on February 25th, Hottests in Korea and from all over the world are in shock.

Excerpts from JYP Entertainment’s online letter:

“On December 22nd, 2009, Jaebeom confessed to Jung Wook representative that he had done something wrong during Again and Again promotions. Apparently, it was far more serious than his MySpace controversy.

The six other members were not notified then as they were busy with year-end activities. On January 3rd, 2010, everyone of us (along with the members) sat down for a discussion and came to an agreement 3 days later that it was no longer possible for Park Jaebeom to continue activities along with 2PM.

We thus decided to terminate our exclusive contract with Jaebeom.”

JYPE stated that Jaebeom’s social impulses were a private matter and will not be revealed. They expressed that it was difficult to reveal the details of Park Jaebeom’s offenders who had intruded into his privacy and posted the comments.

JYPE had planned for Jaebeom’s comeback back in November 2009, with the idea of a return in April 2010, to which Jaebeom himself agreed. The plan was for Jaebeom to return to Korea in the 3rd week of February 2010 and have a press conference before resuming activities with 2PM in April. This comeback news were all kept secret, with the aim of protecting Jaebeom and 2PM. But it has now all become void.

We can only hope that the JYP conference planned for the 27th along with the 2PM fan communities will proceed smoothly. Currently, 100 Hottests have gathered at the JYPE building in Seoul to protest at the point of writing.

The MV for their comeback track reveals a very sexy T-ara and man, are we lovin’ it! Having completed a successful showcase in Japan earlier this month to a rapturous reception from 4000+ fans and 100+ media, DSP Media is preparing to move Kara into the lucrative Japanese music industry. Many Japanese entertainment companies’ representatives were also present to size their potential.

A DSP representative expressed,

“There are plans for Kara to release their debut album around the period of June/July. This is because of the great reception from fans and the media when Kara had a showcase earlier this month.”

So it looks like the Kara girls won’t be getting much rest after they finish their Korean promotions for their new album as they get set to make inroads into the Japanese market this summer.

F.cuz fans are going to have more than just a March comeback to look forward to – it’s been announced that this new boy band has signed a major contract with Taiwan Seed Music, a major record company also behind stars like Vanness Wu of the famous drama Meteor Garden (Taiwan’s Boys Over Flowers), Kenji Wu and Michael Wong. Even though many groups have promoted and performed in Taiwan, this is the first time that a Korean group has signed with a Taiwanese record company.

CAN&J Entertainment has revealed that F.cuz’s promotions and management in the China regions will be led by Seed. Seed is also known to manage concerts and mobile promotions for groups as well. Things are scheduled to kick off next month, with F.cuz’s digital single album JIGGY hitting stores in Taiwan on March 8.

F.cuz is already dominating Seed’s website with the main header photo rotater; the members even give a short message in Mandarin Chinese in the MV section. Check out Seed’s website here!

T-ara’s album jacket for their repackaged album just hit the web and boy is it hot! It’s a bit simplistic, but who’s complaining with six beautiful girls on the cover?

A bit of confusion has arisen over the album’s new name however. A typo on T-ara’s website and the original jacket cover showed that the title was “Braking Heart,” but a few days ago the typo was fixed on the website, so to clarify, the title of the new repackaged album is “Breaking Heart” not “Braking Heart.”

With two completely new tracks in the repackaged album, I’m sure that any devoted T-ara fan will be willing to go out and buy it, although I’m not sure how many fans will buy it for the music or for the pictures that come inside!

With God Of Study now over, hopefully member Jiyeon will be present to help promote this repackaged version of T-ara’s first album.

T-ara’s really gaining momentum with their “evil seduction” concept, and it looks like they’re just going to keep heating things up: fresh after a second MV teaser, the full track of I Go Crazy Because of You and I’m Really Hurt have been released for T-ara’s upcoming album, Braking Heart [sic]!

As the MV teasers suggested, I Go Crazy Because of You has an electropop style with an upbeat tempo and fun, sexy melody arguably reminiscent of Britney Spears‘ music.

After suffering a nose fracture then undergoing surgery last month, Daesung is on the road to recovery – however, he will stay off the live stage for a bit longer. Fortunately, Daesung’s other activities, including his anticipated return to Family Outing, haven’t been changed, and he will make his full return very soon.

Despite ASF’s killer line-up, these notable absences will not be overlooked, first with Kangin of Super Junior, and now Daesung. Though the likelihood of any more drop-outs is unlikely (knock on wood), the presence of these two on stage will be missed.
